Since my Wii has wifi, can I use it as a bridge for my Samsung TV so it can connect to my broadband?
My Samsung Plasma TV has the ability to connect to the internet, but do not have the USB adapter that you can buy for $80 to do so and am looking at all my options. Since my Wii has a built in WiFi, is there any way I can use it as a bridge to my tv so that the tv can utilize the wifi of the Wii to connect to my broadband? My only other thought was to buy a cheap router and set it up as a "bridge" to my router so that I can then use it for my tv, blu-ray, etc. I appreciate any help in advance..... Thanks.....
No, the Wii is not a bridge. Plus, even if it did, you're lacking the wired Ethernet jack on the Wii, so how were you planning to connect the two?
If you're looking for a Wireless bridge device, look for something like a dlink dap-1522. I've got 2 of them in various parts of my house, and they work quite well. Set & forget.
