Flat Screen Mount over a Cubby Hole 26"D 28"W 26"H. How do I make a rig for 40" flat tv to cover opening?
How do I make a home make tv mount over a cubby hole. None of Sanus full motion wall mounts dont work, that is it works but is off set by the swing arms, Thsi is a 40" slim line samsung 6000 model 1 1/2" thick flat screen. the unit is 39 inches long and the height of the tv is 24 1/2" in height. Now their is a 4 in lip on the front edge of the cubbys dry wall side; making the entry just 22" opening. I just cant buy the correct mount to cover opening. Goal is to cover cubby hole and be able to axcess storage behind tv, perhaps place cable box and DVDs in cubby hole like a hidden shelf in side wall.
Install enough structure over or around the cubby to attach the mount to.
