What's the best way to hook up my Samsung HT-TX72 to HD cable and HD tv?
I just purchased the Samsung HT-TX72 and am looking for the best way to hook it up to my HD cable box and HD receiver. The HT-TX72 has HDMI in and out. However, I have no idea what I am doing and need some help.
Samsung HT-TX72 is HTIB - so no other recievers are required. You cable box is HD. I don't understand which othe HD receiver you have...
If your TV has just one HDMI input, you can hook up HD Cable box to Samsung HT-TX72 using HDMI, and then Samsung HT-TX72 to TV using HDMI.
If TV has more than 1 HDMI input, you can do the same, or connect Cabld directly to TV using HDMI and cable to Samsung HT-TX72 using digital audio.
