SAMSUNG DLP TV FLICKER??/?
so i have a samsung dlp tv, 61inches, and it had been giving really annoying white flickering flashes after like 5 minutes of turning it on, eventually the tv wouldn't come on, so we got it diagnosed and got a new lamp, the tv turned on fine but the white flashes are even more rapid ....any ideas..

Sounds like a cycling problem. Make sure the bulb's Hz matches your electric supply's Hz. The new bulb may be defective or may have been damaged already by the micro surges your electric service is subjecting it to. There is also a chance that there is a problem with the TV's transformer or power supply circuit card. The tech should have done a trace to rule out everything else before just changing the bulb.
