It wont turn on?
I bought a Samsung HDTV a little over a year ago and last night when I went to watch it the sides of the screen were warping and I had trouble tuning it on but now when I just now tried to turn it on nothing happens. So I thought maybe it was just the outlet that was bad so i tried the other one and it still wouldnt turn on sooo out of despiration I used an extension cord and used the other rooms outlet which I know works and the TV still will not turn on PLEASE HELP
Well, plugging it in to different outlets proved that the problem is within the TV and not with the cord or outlet. The TV uses electromagnets to generate the picture on the screen, so when the picture started to warp, it shows that there isn't enough power getting to the magnets and an internal circuit is failing. Later , the failure was total and even if it turned on, there would be no picture. You need to get the TV repaired or replaced. I hope it's still in warranty.
