Ive got a Samsung TV A550 1080p that supports 1080p thru component. Either way, HDMI reaches a better A/V quality or it's just the same?

Nope, only comes w/ standard a/v. You'll have to buy either a component or hdmi cabel HDMI or component are the only way to get HD. HDMI is better, but component is good as well, either one will provide great graphics. I personally would shell out the extra $20-$40 to get a HDMI cable (vs. Component).
