What can cause so many bad Pixels on a Samsung DLP 42 inch TV. How can I repair it?
DLP tvs don't have pixels. They have millions of tiny mirrors (remember the little girl in the ads with the elephant and "all the tiny mirrors") anyway, when you see a lot of white spots on the tv, look at them up close and I think you'll see they are square. What's happening is the DLP chip is failing, which is too expensive to repair unless you have an extended warranty.
