Question about setting up internet on a Samsung LED TV Series 7 7000.?
I recently bought a Samsung LED TV Series 7 7000. I want to set up the internet on it.
My router (Netgear Wifi Router) is hooked up to my desktop by a cable (bc it can't connect by wireless) Anyway, do I need to hook the tv up by cable as well or can I somehow let it connect by wireless? If i can, how? Because the router and desktop is far from the living room where the tv is. It's gonna take me a looong cable to connect it if I have to. ^~^
The TV, out of the box, is meant for being hard wired into the Internet. So an ethernet cable run from a router. Hence the ethernet port on the back of the TV.
But, Samsung does sell a wireless add-on device. Its called the LinkStick Wireless Lan Adapter and supports '09 Samsung TVs with Internet@TV, DLNA, Content Library OR InfoLink.
