Which is the world's best swivel wall-mount bracket for LED TV? Is it available in India?
I need to place my new Samsung LED TV in a room corner where I can turn it towards my sofa for viewing and push it back against the wall when not in use.
I've seen some but they are really fat and the TV comes around 7 inches away from the wall when it's folded back.
Any slim models out there that can swivel? Thanks in advance.
Hi,
I had purchased a Samsung series 6 LED few months back and faced the exact same problem. Back then there were a couple of brands of swivel mounts for LCDs and Plasmas available but as you pointed out they are very fat and have a profile of about 7" which ridicules the whole idea of buying an ultra slim LED TV.
I did some research on the web and found out that there is a brand called Mightymount, these guys have Ultra-Slim profile Swivel wall mount brackets specifically designed for LED TVs, In fact they are supposedly the slimmest swivel type mounts available. It folds back to just 1.57" and extends to about 19" and swivel 90 degrees in either direction.
I eventually bought it and its available at most CE Retail stores in Mumbai including Croma, Kohinoor, Sony Mony, Sumaria etc..
