Samsung LED TV (not really LED TV)?
I'm quite stumped here, according to experts I spoken too they mention that Samsung's LED TV are not true LED solution but instead still based on the older LCD panel with only LED backlighting.
After further research I have concluded these are actually conventional LCD (liquid crystal display) technology TVs in White LEDs (light emitting diodes) mounted around the edge, instead of more conventional means of illumination to provide panel backlighting. I would like some detailed clarification on this.
Also are there any TRUE LED based TV out in the general consumer market that are available right now?
