65" Panasonic Plasma or 55" Samsung LED 8000?
I'm ordered the UNB55B8000 yesterday after seing a great deal at BB, but I got home and did my research and found it had it's share of problems. I'm now second guessing my decision, and am debating on whether to get a Panny Plasma or another LCD.
The plasma I would get would be the TC-P65S1 since it's the only one in my budget. I know the V10 and G10 are much better, but I cannot afford them. Both the LED and Plasma cost the same, so I'd just be an exchange. What would you do in my situation. Any advice would be great. Thank you.
I know the 8000 series is an upgraded model (vs 7100 or 6000) so the LED is nice. I'd say give it benefit of the doubt. if it gives you problems in the return policy time frame, return it.
you'll get a longer life span out of the LED. plasma repairs tend to be pricier.
IF you go with a plasma, then panasonic is the name brand to go with.
if I were you, I'd stick to the LED for now, kick the tires real good, and go from there.
