Whats the difference between these two TV models?
I am looking to buy a Samsung TV, what I would like to know is: what is the difference between their C7000 line and their C8000 line? The C8000 line, as far as I can tell, simply costs $200-$300 more, but for what?
I am looking at their LED TVs, just to be clear.
7000 has LED edge backlighting, 8000 has LED full matrix backlighting, a.k.a. "Precision Dimming." Also the 8000 series claims a higher contrast ratio, but that's not terribly important. See the ref.
