Can I watch 3D movies/games from a 60hz HDTV/Monitor?
Hi, I bought a Samsung XL2370 LED Backlight monitor (60hz i think...) a few days ago, and bought an HDMI 1.3 cable (which people say supports 3D and some others say it doesn't) but since that's the one that i bought I can't go back now. I'm currently outside my country I can't test them with my PS3.
Can I watch 3D on a 60hz Monitor with 1.3 HDMI?
PS: I'm not big on 3D stuff but I figured it would be nice if it does support it.
They don't make 3d for 60 hz. That is because when you get below 100 hz you start to see a flickering effect because the refresh rate is so slow your eyes can see it. You have to cut it in half for each eye. So at 60 hz the refresh rate for each eye is 30 times per second. Pretty slow.
