HDMI and PS3 Problem?
I have a Samsung 32 inch LCD HDTV and a 80 gb PS3. So when I plug in my PS3 by plugging in the power cord and HDMI cable to the back of my TV to the back of the PS3 No Signal shows up. I cant hear anything or see anything and never had this problem as I owned this PS3 for 1 year and took it on vacation and cant play it because of this.
if you had it connected to lesser spec tv you need to connect to lesser spec tv again and go to settings on ps3 and set the connection from 720 or whatever the resolution of the tv is and set to hdmi connection. i had this prob myself with my sons ps3 and this is how i resolved it. i had connected it and set it up on a samsung 46" 1080p. then when we set it up on my sons 720 res it would not work til i set it back up on the higher res and set it to, i think there is an auto setting on it. you need to set yours to hdmi.
this should sort it for you.
